Fall 2006 - Hand-painting on Faille and silk screen on wool.
In this project cut pattern pieces where hand-painted to create a trompe l'oeil effect of stitching along the garment edge. The skirt was screen-printed in a design that resembles a tufted couch.
 
FALL 2007 - Screen-printed floral motif on pleated silk.
This dress was created by Thakoon exclusively to be featured in a Poiret themed spread in Vogue magazine. The subtle floral motif was screen-printed on pre-pleated silk.
