SPRING 2010 - Laser-cut gold netting appliquéd on white tulle gown.
The design inspiration for this laser cut appliquéd gown was derived from a photograph of an embroidery motif. Each of the individual appliqué elements were designed to precisely fit the shape of their corresponding skirt and bodice pattern pieces. Yardage of golden tulle netting was first backed with fusible, then laser cut and finally appliquéd onto white tulle.
