SPRING 2008 - Natural dye ombre screen-prints on organic cotton.

First organic capsule collection. Four different color-ways were created using natural dyes derived from plants and insects. In order for these dyes to be screen-printed, they were thickened with natural gum extract and screened as a three color ombre print. The natural dyes used for the project are osage, fustic and marigold for the yellow prints; osage, myrobalan and iron for the green prints; cutch and fustic for the brown prints; and cochineal insects for the pink print (not shown).
