SPRING 2010 - Shibori dyed Twill Denim and Cotton Jersey.
For this project, panels of organic cotton jersey and twill denim were ironed into 1 inch pleats and stitched along the pleated edge by hand. The stitched fabric was then vat dyed, allowed to dry and washed to remove excess dye before being unstitched to reveal the carefully controlled striped shibori pattern.
