Gunny + Galloon is a textile design studio specializing in the creation of hand-made treatments on fabric. At G+G we take an experimental approach to our craft; always looking to discover new and innovative ways to alter, embellish and adorn fabrics.
Gunny + Galloon was born out of a commitment to the study of textiles – both its rich history and its many diverse craft traditions – and an ever-growing dedication to the art of the handmade. At G+G we find inspiration in the patterns and textures of all things that surround us. Simple, seemingly insignificant details fuel our imagination. Not surprisingly, nature – its perfect harmony and awesome strangeness – never fails to amaze us.
In only a few short years, our studio has had the privilege to create work for such established and celebrated designers as Jason Wu, Alexander Wang, Prabal Gurung and Bibhu Mohapatra. At G+G we cherish the satisfaction of working with our hands and never take for granted the gift of being able to do what we love each day.
